UK Youth Hackathon Event

On Saturday December 8th SoapBox attended a Hackathon Event run by Microsoft and UK Youth. A member of staff and 4 young people attended. The event was very much focused on young people.  

As part of the Hackathon, young people were tasked with making a mobile application that addressed social issues of relevance in today’s environment. They learnt how to work as a team, work in an agile way by coming up with more than one idea quickly and making sure that everyone was involved.
