Care Leavers Night at SoapBox

Care Leavers Night

Open to any young person who is or has been in Care

The care leavers night is an opportunity for the young people to explore, learn or enhance digital skills with the help and support of staff at Soapbox.

These weekly sessions enables young people to discover technology and learn new digital skills in a way they may never have experienced before. In these sessions we have previously explored 3D printing, games design, music production where the young people had complete control on the material they wanted to produce and create and can make it as personal as they would like according to their interests.

The young people have been able to create physical objects from our 3D printing facilities, learn how to create their own game and character, use Adobe photoshop to learn techniques on how to edit images, create logos and make posters and have also had the opportunity to create and produce music soundtrack using Appleton.
